SQLSaturday 845 (Atlanta)

Join ZAP for a free training session at this latest PASS.org event.

SQLSaturday is a free training event for Microsoft Data Platform professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server, Business Intelligence and Analytics. This event will be held on May 18 2019 at Gwinnett Technical College – Alpharetta and will feature a special session from ZAP’s Trey Johnson entitled ‘Now You See It, Now They Don’t – Choosing Effective Visualization Types for your Data’.

Now You See It, Now They Don’t – Choosing Effective Visualization Types for your Data:

The visualization of data is the heart of your analytical story. If you choose the right visual, your story resonates; choose the wrong visual and it is a tragedy. In this session, we will explore the visualization types and how they map to the data you often will encounter and support the story you are looking to tell.

We will explore visualization examples in tools like Microsoft’s Power BI, Tableau and others with techniques which elegantly support your own choice of analytical display. If you are struggling to make your analytics impactful and easily understood, this session is for you.

If you are not sure when to use all the visuals available to you within your analytics design toolset, this session is also for you! And if you want to return to your organization and make an impact visually on your users, this session is absolutely for you.
