ZAP is looking for an exceptional, experienced, sales professional with a successful track record and solid business background to join our team.

This individual will play a key role in the acquisition and development of Business Partners and ISV’s in the U.S. and Canada.

Our Sr. Channel Development Managers are responsible for growing our strategic partner base through the successful adoption of ZAP’s business model and will be responsible for both tactical execution and strategic planning with these partners to drive sales growth.  The right individual will be willing to work hard to achieve the company’s goals to help grow their career and the organization as a whole as part of a global team.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand ZAP’s partner base by driving the recruitment and acquisition of large Strategic Partners
  • Engage in exceptional telephone, email and on-site conversations with Business Partners and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) to deliver new customer growth through the channel
  • Exceed established revenue targets
  • Enable partners through hands-on training to effectively present and sell ZAP’s solutions
  • Travel to prospect sites, conferences, and events in an effort to drive new customer growth through strategic partners (30%-50% travel)
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet and exceed quarterly sales goals
  • Record and provide partner feedback and industry trends to the broader organization
  • Maintain consistently high activity volume and lead conversion

Qualifications:

A proven sales track record of success and ability to identify opportunities and leverage internal & external resources appropriately. Strong qualification skills are a must to be successful in this role

  • Experience selling software, SAAS, technology solutions
  • General knowledge of ERP, CRM, and BI technology
  • Strong knowledge of one or more of these areas ERP, CRM, and BI solutions preferred
  • 5-7 years Sales experience minimum
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding established revenue targets through channel sales
  • Knowledge of the Sage channel is a plus
  • An ability to manage a sales process, including negotiating sales opportunities to closure, through a deep understanding of a prospective customer’s buying process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a continued desire to improve
  • A team player that wants to help others and win together
  • Tons of energy, passion, a sense of humor and enthusiasm
  • CRM experience

Ideally located in Tampa or Atlanta, willing to consider remote candidates
