ZAP sponsors and exhibits at IDC’s Data & Analytics Conference 2018

ZAP has partnered with leading analyst firm IDC for this month’s Data and Analytics Conference in London.

Join us at the America Square Conference Centre on 14 June, where – exploring a theme of “Creating the Intelligent Business: Paths to Value” – you can hear from keynote speakers including Lauren Walker (Chief Data Officer, Dentsu Aegis Network) and IDC’s Helena Schwenk, author of our recent white paper, “Enterprise‐Grade Data Management for Midsize Organizations“.

We’re looking forward to attending IDC’s Data and Analytics Conference 2018 – comments ZAP’s CEO Garth Laird.  As well as sponsoring and exhibiting at the event, we’ll be demonstrating our data management automation software, ZAP Data Hub and how, for those businesses attending, it can help them overcome four important challenges:

  • Enterprise data silos – the business blind spots they cause and the inefficient manual workarounds that result
  • Ungoverned, unsecured data – with decisions based on Excel workbooks with no audit trail
  • Manual data prep – that wastes time and hinders reporting and self-service analysis
  • The struggle to access meaningful, business-wide data with great BI tools like Power BI and Tableau

Adds Philip Carnelley, Research Director at IDC – “Business leaders generally agree that analytics holds the key to competing successfully in an increasingly digital world. In the past few years, organizations have been investing in ever more sophisticated tools to handle and analyze data. But many have yet to gain the value they have been looking for. What’s the secret? In this conference, we will seek to explore how to gain intelligence from information and look at best practices from governance to change management to drive value while building the truly intelligent business.”
