Zap's business intelligence solution is based on the Microsoft SQL Server® platform and gives you a familiar technology base, with a business friendly interface that minimizes the technical resources needed. Here's how we make the best use of Microsoft BI technology:

Zap Business Intelligence: The front end is browser based, so you can use Internet Explorer (and other browsers) as a standalone solution, or integrate with complemenary Microsoft technologies. For example, analytics can be viewed within SharePoint, Outlook, or exported to Excel. We also offer a range of solutions specific to Microsoft Dynamics customers.

Zap CubeXpress: If you have a SQL Server data source, you can use Zap CubeXpress to fast track cube creation. This wizard-driven productivity tool builds a SQL Server data warehouse to produce an optimized Analysis Services OLAP cube.

SQL Server: Zap's solution uses SQL Server as the data processing and analysis engine. The use of Analysis Services (SSAS) enables Zap Business Intelligence to access data from many different corporate data warehouses, including but not limited to SQL Server, Oracle®, DB2®, Informix®, and Sybase®.

Other Microsoft credentials: Zap holds three Microsoft Gold Competencies (ISV, BI and Data Platform) and two Silver Competencies (ERP and CRM). Our technology has been Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2 and we've won numerous Microsoft awards, including 2010 Country Partner of the Year and 2009 ISV/Software Solutions Innovation Partner of the Year.
